After 15 years as an independent animation outfit, Flinch Studio is putting on its big boy pants and marching into history. Don’t be upset – Flinch isn’t really going away, merely evolving.

As a company, our role has changed quite a bit over the years… from a hungry startup, digging into a brand new medium and leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for an emerging industry, to developing new content with industry greats who gave us the chance to prove ourselves.

From hunkering down and scraping an existence through the web’s dark days, to re-emerging as a creative boutique studio supporting a huge variety of clients from all over the media spectrum. And finally, growing into an entertainment-minded content development group, helping usher in a new age in animated web entertainment. The dream has come full circle, and though the ride has been long and often bumpy, we’ve arrived at our destination.

After years of producing beloved short-format animation, we have come to realize our greatest strength is bringing good ideas to greatness… taking the seeds of powerful properties and nurturing them… discovering the world within, breathing life into their characters, making their stories compelling, tailoring them to their market.

Every idea, great and small, is born naked and hungry. Every idea deserves a chance to grow, to find out what makes it special, to reach out to a world waiting eagerly for its arrival. Every idea needs a pair of Mighty Pants to make its long and fruitful journey.

And so, we continue to draw and animate and make funny noises… but as our primary purpose evolves from “mover of pictures” to “developer of properties”, so must our identity transition from a provider of services to a guardian of ideas.

And now, without further ado, Mighty Pants Media is released unto the world, to feed hungry ideas and fit them for destiny.
